He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Dawson and Eunice Drone Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Susie Dawson; his children, Michael L. Dawson of Palmetto, GA and Lisa Alexander of Chester, VA; and his sisters, Mildred L. Edmonds of Gastonia, NC and Mary A. Mack of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
