She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Buddy" Brown; her daughters, Teresa Gail Brown and Rena Carol Brown; her parents, Herbert W. Fussell and Maude Shaw Fussell; her brothers, Carlton Fussell, Tom Fussell, Willie, Jack Fussell, Milton Fussell (Bill) and Wilton Fussell; and her great grandchild Olivia Grace Brown.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Ruth Kent; her son Clarence Barrow Brown (Susan); her adoptive son Richard Whitley (Kim); her grandsons, Daniel Brown, Josh Brown and Adam Brown (Amber); her niece Sibby (Bill); her close friend Lula Chappell; and her niece Karen (Ellis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
