It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Lucille Owens (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Hugh and Lucille Carlton Cole; her husband Philip "Sam" Owens; and her siblings, Hugh Cole, Ann Erman and Robert "Bob" Cole.

She is survived by : her son Daniel "Danny" Owens (Michelle Owens); her grandchildren, Taylor Owens (Ginger Proctor) and Payton Owens (Elizabeth Smith); and her great grandchild Jay B. Owens.
