She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Earl and Mary Price Toole; her husband James Earl Britt; her pet Brownie; her siblings, Bonnie Lou Toole Norris, Charles Earl Toole, Helen Evans, Linwood Toole of Arthur Toole, S. E, Toole, Jr., Sue Moye and Wayne Toole; and her mother-in-law Minnie Britt Braddy.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Britt (Tina) of Tarboro, Paula Britt Klutz of Tarboro and Thomas Britt (Jessica) of Bethel; her grandchildren, L. J. Klutz (Hope), Logan Klutz, Faith Anderson (Christopher), Ava Leonard and Breanna Little; her brother Joe; her sister-in-law Janie Britt; and her close friend Catherine Batchelor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family friends, and other extended relatives.
