He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Lee and Winifred Barber Pollard; his wife Mary Frances Pollard; his son Thomas Joseph Pollard; his daughter-in-law Angela M. Pollard; his grandson Jeremy Lee Pollard; and his brothers, Randy Lee Pollard and Elbert Ray Pollard.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Lee Pollard (Amanda) of Tarboro; his siblings, Phyllis Moore (Larry) of Tarboro, Brenda Collins (Mike) of Roxboro and Johnny Lockamy (Vivian) of Macclesfield; and his grandchildren, Amari and Alyssa Pollard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
