It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynnette Anne Faith Whitaker of Tarboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilber Whitaker; her parents, Paul E. Whitaker and Gladys "Judy" Whitaker; and her great grandchild Benjamin Paul Godwin. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Pylant (Joseph) of Tarboro, Jacki Godwin of Tarboro, Bill Worsley of Tarboro and Susan Worsley of Tarboro; her grandchildren, Jonathan Godwin (Courtney), Ashley Godwin, Elizabeth Worsley (James), Matthew Godwin (Chelsea), Amanda Marshall (John), Nicholas Worsley (Kristie), Erica Brewer (Jordan) and Joni Pylant; and her siblings, Donnie Whitaker of Conetoe, Bentley Whitaker of Conetoe, Billie Whitaker (Doris) of Conetoe and Debbie Wooten of Conetoe.
The last few years she had been bed ridden due to complications from Covid.
