She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Ellen Petteway. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Marvin Wilkes; her daughters, Anavette Wilkes of Greenville, NC, Marvella Wilkes Brunson of Franklinton, NC, Ella J. Wilkes of Bethel, NC and Dr. Josette L. Wilkes of Salisbury, NC; and her siblings, James Petteway of Greenville, NC, Chester Petteway of Bethel, NC and Etheleen Petteway of Bethel, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
