She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Wiggs and Peggy Wiggs; and her son Brian Etheridge. She is survived by: her husband Lee Speight; her sister Martha Green; her children, Allison Taylor (Jason), Michael Speight (Suzanne) and Travis Speight (Monica); and her grandchildren, Codie Etheridge, Shianna Stokes (Josh), Chase Taylor, Ella Taylor, Landon Speight, Rylan Speight, Tyler Speight and Jayden Speight.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macclesfield Presbyterian Church (205 N 2nd St, Macclesfield, NC 27852). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the Macclesfield City Cemetery (534 State Rd 1109, Macclesfield, NC 27852).
