It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Hathaway (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Hathaway to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his mother Margie Herring; his stepfather Kenny Avery; his son Michael Tyler Hathaway; his stepson D. J. Whitfield; his fiancée Petrice Mitchum; his grandchildren, Waylon Davis and Rayne Davis; and his siblings, Kelly Herring Sutton (Keith) and Gene Hathaway (Stacey).

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to Carlisle Funeral Home, P. O. Box 326, Tarboro, N. C. 27886 to help with funeral expenses.
