It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia Ann James (Tarboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Roy Armstrong of Tarboro. She is survived by : her mother Margaret Armstrong; her husband David Earl James of Pinetops; her son Michael B. James (Kim); her grandchildren, Amy Casteel (Joseph) of Pinetops, Jackson James (J. P.) of Pinetops, Riley James of Pinetops and Zachary James of Pinetops; her sister Brenda Dickson (Ronnie) of Tarboro; her sister-in-law Brenda James of Washington; and her nephews, Tee James, Matthew James, Pete Dickson and Chip Dickson.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Pender's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 3246 Howard Avenue Extension, Tarboro, NC 27886.
