He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bobbitt and Annie Lee Bobbitt; his brothers, Fred and Richard; and his brother-in-law Roy Parker.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Bobbitt, Jr. of Plymouth, Henry Bobbitt of Wilson and Edith Parker; his brother-in-law Ben Whitehurst; his nieces and nephews, Ricky Parker, LeAnne P. Butler of Fredra, B. B, Knight, Melissa B. Boggs, Ginger B. Barfield, Andy Bobbitt and James Bobbitt, III; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by 1 niece; 10 great-nephews and 1 great-great-nephew.
