He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Jefferson and Thelma Jefferson; his siblings, Marie Jefferson McKeel, Marion Jefferson Dilda, John Dwight Jefferson, Edwina Jefferson Barry and Marianne Jefferson Taylor; his wife Dorothy Anne Braswell Jefferson; his daughter Pennie Lynn Jefferson; and his grandson Dustin Dwayne Everette.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Dail Jefferson, Jr. (Wendy) and Suzanne Jefferson Speight (Michael); his grandchildren, Jessica Jefferson Bryant (Damien), Dena Shyanne Everette (Wyatt), Jacob Lee Jefferson, Thomas Corey Deal, Dawson Rae Deal, Tyler Speight and Jayden Speight; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Braswell (Robin), Larry Taylor and Gwen Gardner (Max). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
