It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Cullifer (Tarboro, North Carolina), born in Elm City, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Daniel Proctor and Emma Blanche Proctor; her husband Samuel Louis Cullifer, Sr.; and her siblings, Mavis Harrell (Jonas), Mary Joyner, Walter Ray Proctor and Janice Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Cullifer Joyner and Samuel Louis Cullifer, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Luke Cullifer, Zoe Cullifer and Victoria Joyner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
