She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph S. Gardner and Alma Tew Gardner; and her brothers, Edward "Bummy" Rook, Freddie Rook and Joseph "Joey" Gardner.
She is survived by: her son Michael Todd Prince of Zebulon, NC; her grandson Michael Ryan Prince of Oak Island; her sisters-in-law, Melisa Wallace Gainey, Sylvia Wallace and Pattie Wallace Queen; and her sibling's children, Karen Rook Summerlin, Lisa Rook Daughtry, Tracy Arnold, Eddie Rook and Mark Rook.
