He is survived by: his wife Becky Anderson Clay; his children, Eric Clay of Macclesfield and Christy Clay Batts (Brian) of Hampstead; his sister Millie Clay Inscoe (Mike) of Denton; his niece Amanda Inscoe; his nephew Michael Inscoe; and his grandchildren, Hannah Clay, Sarah Grace Clay, Parker Batts and Cade Batts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Edgewood Ofwb Church (680 Edgewood Church Rd, Macclesfield, NC 27852). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
