He was predeceased by: his son William Craig Johnson (Fabio); his parents, Glenn Johnson and Annie Stine Johnson; his daughter Deborah Denise Johnson; and his siblings, Harold, Wayne, Hilda and Phyllis.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Huitt Johnson; his child Taylorsville; his siblings, Brenda Jones (Rick), Linda Smith and Larry Johnson (Peggy); and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Feimster (Willie) and Becky Gaines (Tony). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
