He is survived by : his mother Elizabeth Corpening Day; his children, Heather Robinson (Luke) of Newton, Jennifer Jackson (Sheila) of Illinois and Cameron Massagee (Leigh) of Granite Falls; his stepchildren, Alicia Metcalf of Ocean Isle, NC, Ricky Metcalf (Candy) of Marion, NC, Timothy Metcalf (Ashley) of Granite Falls and Gary Metcalf of Morganton; and his sister Brenda Ballou-Ackerman (Joe) of Granite Falls.
