It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dwight Thomas Walker (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Hall Walker and Lona Belle Land Walker; his siblings, Annette W. Elder (Jack) and Ronnie Walker; and his brother-in-law Grady Pennell.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Walker; his children, Stephen Walker (Misty) and Andrea Sherrill (Bryan); his grandchildren, Cohen Sherrill, Rylee Gunter, Kingston Sherrill, Widelin Sherrill, Lucinda Walker and Waitsel Walker; and his siblings, Bernice Hudspeth (Lawrence), Jane Pennell and Charles Walker (Joann). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Three Forks Baptist Church (3 Forks Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery (3 Forks Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
