He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Cope Setzer and Ruth Sigmon Setzer; his sister Patsy Hollar (Ken); and his niece Pam Hollar. He is survived by: his wife Harolene Arndt Setzer; his daughters, Marti Carter (Amos) of Dandridge, TN, Denise Isenhour (Kelly) of Conover and Suzanne Sigmon (Chad) of Hickory; his siblings, Bobby Setzer (Alma Jean) of Claremont, Mackie Setzer (Betty) of Claremont and Janice Sigmon (Jerry) of Claremont; his grandchildren, Keaton Hinson (Leah), Mahayla Clark (Coby), Hayden Laney, Braylen Sigmon, Thaxton Isenhour and Faith Auton (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Adalee, Brooks Clark and Oakley Hinson; and his caregivers, Nichole Barnes, Angel Hale, Lynn McCurry, Emily Fisher and Jordan Burnett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (2304 Springs Rd NE, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
