He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Vanrasculas Knode and Martha Minerva Boyer; his wife Jacqueline Knode; his sons, Lee Knode and Vincent Knode; and his siblings, Melva Ryan, Kenneth Knode and Carlton Knode.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Mitchem and William Knode (Patricia). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, multiple nieces and nephews and other family members.
