She was predeceased by: her parents, T. Wayne Payne and Edna Mabel Martin Payne; her husband Dr. John L. Roberson; and her brother William Gale Payne (Alice Ann). She is survived by: her children, Michael Roberson of Taylorsville, Todd Roberson (Daphne) of High Point, Joey Roberson (Reagina) of Asheboro and Jamie Griffin (Patrick) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, John, Steven, Cortland and Khloe; her stepgranddaughters, Christina and Kathryn; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dallas and Brazen; her sister Beth Dagenhart (Steve); her nieces, Sherry Owenby (John), Debbie Payne, Lisa Hefner (Allen), Chondra Trimnal and Heather Finney (Thomas); and her nephew Patrick Dagenhart (Katie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Salem Presbyterian Church (4415 Old Mountain Rd, Stony Point, NC 28678). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the same location.
