He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ted Broome and Judy Lovelace Broome; his wife Judy Houston Broome; his daughter Rebekah Broome; his stepdaughter Betty Eppley (Anthony); his son Chuck Broome; his stepsons, Sam Heckman and Jimmy Heckman (Dana); and his siblings, Kim Scott, Catrina Roberts, Todd Broome (B. B.) and Thad Broome. He was also cherished by one grandchild; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren.
