It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ner Hostetler of Taylorsville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel S. Hostetler and Lydia B. King Hostetler; his son Abner Hostetler; and his siblings, Nancy Hostetler, Mary Zook, Eli Hostetler, John Hostetler and Samuel Hostetler.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hostetler; his children, Barbara Hostetler Stoltzfus (Shaphan) of Statesville, David Hostetler (Miriam) of Moravian Falls and Enos Hostetler (Rikki) of Michigan; and his sisters, Leah Hostetler, Barbara Speicher and Rhoda Hostetler. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a number of other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dayspring Christian Fellowship (1340 Berea Church Quincy Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
