She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Eugene Carlson and Rosa Belle "Rosie" Reese Carlson. She is survived by: her close friend W. J.; her husband William James "W. J." Fox; her children, Todd Fox (Nancy), Tina Fox Herndon (Marty) and MawMaw; her grandchildren, Cody Fox, Daniel Fox (Payton), Seth Herndon and Micah Herndon; her great grandchildren, Coulson Fox and Sandler Fox; her siblings, Rachel Carlson Martin, Linda Carlson Troxclair, Judy Carlson George, Charlie Carlson (Lorene) and Anita Carlson Huffman (Ronnie); and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Fox (Joy), Jane Fox Sweet (Allen), Tony Fox (Marquita) and Lorene Carlson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and all of her many friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church (6174 Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery (6174 Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
