Ruby Jean Teague Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jean Teague (Taylorsville, North Carolina), who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everett Teague and Zettie Watts Teague; and her siblings, James Teague, Troy Teague, Mildred Fox, Rachel Gresham, Ruth Teague and Elsie Bolick.
She is survived by: her son Faron Teague (Karen); her grandchildren, Calvin Teague (Amanda) and Lauren Davis (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Huntley, Nora Teague, Kensley and Jaxson Davis; and her sister Geraldine Teague. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church (6174 Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Alexander County or the Valley Nursing Center Activities Department, in honor of Ruby's generous and joyful spirit.
