He was predeceased by: his parents, William Matthew Glad and Irene Randich Glad of Joliet, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gail Dooley of Haddonfield, NJ; his children, Ben Glad, Nathan Glad (Patricia) and Hillary Boyce (Jason Knapp); his grandchildren, Kenneth Boyce (Kaylie Moore) and Ellie Glad; his siblings, Daniel Glad (Jeanne), Denise Griffith (Bruce), David Glad (Elaine) and Dorene Lynch (John); and his caregiver Angie Herb. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Taylorsville (1400 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681).
