He is survived by: his wife Susan Jones; his children, Rachel Jones (Alex Dodd) and Matthew Jones (Robin); his grandchildren, Raven, Jayden, Gunner, Jaxson Jones and Annie Mae Dodd; his brother Lester Jones (Ansley); his uncle David Leinfelder (Rachel); his sister-in-law Charlie Jones; his niece Madison Pendley (Jacob); his nephews, Mitchell and Mason Jones; and his great-nephew Bennett Pendley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Catawba County Republican Women's Club or to Olivet Baptist Church.
