She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert Yates and Mary Elizabeth Pierce Yates; and her sister Pam Marlowe. She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Lucy (Don) and Tracy Beck; her brother Steve Yates (Diane); her grandchildren, Michael Lucy (Dezarae), Christopher Lucy (Brianna), Nicole Lucy, Abbie Beck and Kaleb Beck; and her great grandchildren, Kinsley Lucy and Aaron Lucy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the New Day Fellowship (211 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
