He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Martin Turner and Butler Turner; his wife JoAnn Collins Turner; his son Archie Wayne Turner; and his siblings, Doris Hammonds, Sallie Pearl Edwards, Shelby Jean Johnson, Marshall Turner and Horace Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Earnhardt (Gary) of Thomasville and Johnny Turner (Tammy) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Archie, Jonathan, Olivia, Logan, Allen, Travis, Ashley, Brian and Jeffery; and his siblings, Carl Turner, Mae Cardwell and Willie Mae Willard. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jc Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
