With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barry Duffield of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Akron, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Leonard and Gladys Ruth Duffield; his brother David Duffield; and his wife Shawanda Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Duffield Ginter of Thomasville and Cody Lee Duffield (Katie Smalley) of Archdale; his grandchildren, David Duffield Ginter, Molly Duffield Ginter, Lilly Adair and Christopher Smalley; his siblings, Dennis Duffield (Susan) and Mary Ann Kresowaty (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Brent, Krystle, Randy, Sarah, Tiffany, Jacob, Adam and Jeremiah; and his siblings-in-law, Krystal, Katrinka Johnson (Janet) and Scott Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to any Veterans Memorial or the Forsyth NSICU.
