She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Eugene Kirk and Hattie Leona Burkhart Kirk; her husband Carlyle A. Nance, Jr.; and her siblings, Buck Kirk, Bruce Kirk and Ruby Perrell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Nance (Betsy) of Thomasville, Mike Nance (Marlene) of Thomasville and Toni Nance Underwood (Steve) of Trinity; her grandchildren, Kristan Lovelace (Jesse), Justin Underwood, Jenny Nance Ferguson (Jeremy), Natalie Underwood Haire (Drew), Abby Nance Hunter (Aaron), Katie Nance Niday (Ty) and Kassidy Nance Blair (Connor); her great grandchildren, Ada, Theron, Arcadia Lovelace, Caroline, Isaiah, Josiah Ferguson, Zeke, Calvin, Kent Hunter, Cash, Crew Haire, Levi Niday and Bo Blair; and her caregivers, Pamela Edwards, Starr Vicks, Denise Muldrow and Ashley Jordan.
