She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Jarvis Pope and Bertha Sheffield Pope; her husbands, Bobby Gordon and Edward Gene Amstutz; her son David Alan Gordon; and her grandson Cody Gordon. She is also survived by three children, a brother and two sisters and several grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
