He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Mock and Ruby Byerly Edwards; and his brothers, Harold Mock Edwards and Steven James Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Emily "Lou" Stone Edwards; his children, Sharon Payne (John) and Chuck Edwards (Michelle); his grandchildren, Emily Stevenson (Brian), Wes Payne (Megan), Trent Edwards and Blaire Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Mary, Wesley, Samuel, Lily Payne, Graham and Caroline Stevenson.
