She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Matthew Dale Poindexter and Betty Ruth King Poindexter; her children, James, Melany Dawn Stevens of High Point and Stefany Ann Owens (Johnathan) of Huffman, Texas; her siblings, Matthew "Dale" Poindexter of Thomasville and Patricia Ann Neaves (Kenneth) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Sharon Poindexter of Thomasville, Michael Lee Poindexter of Thomasville, Daniel Ryan Hardison of Kernersville, Noah Hunter Beck of California, Ethan Alexander Alvarez of Eden, Caiden Owens of Huffman, Texas, Amber Owens of Huffman, Texas and Madison Owens of Huffman, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Bliss Saunders, Eva Poindexter and Quason Martin. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
