She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolin Lewis and Beatrice Hoskins Lewis; and her siblings, David Lewis, Ethel Fant, William Lewis, Jerome Lewis and Ruby Whitsett.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Lewis (Tanya) and Elizabeth Moore; her grandchildren, Shantelle Cribb, Kristion Moore, Celine Alvarez, Curisma Lewis, Curtis Lewis, Jr., Cameron Lewis, Carlos Lewis and Chassidee Lewis; her great grandchildren, Serena Cribb, William Collins, Jr., Payton Moore-Heitkamp, Riley Moore-Heitkamp, Tobias Moore-Heitkamp, Jackie Moore-Heitkamp, Alarick Moore-Heitkamp and Topanga Moore-Heitkamp; her siblings, Essie Cannon (William), Olivia Rice, Hatti Jackson (Robert), Thelma Coard (Julius), Delma Hairston (Lawrence) and Warren Lewis, Sr. (Kimberly); her cousin Willie Pinkney; and her close friend Kenneth Ruff.
