With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Hedgpeth (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine McLean Byrd and Jesse Henry Byrd, Sr.; and her brother Jesse Henry Byrd, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Joseph R. Hedgpeth; her daughters, Catherine Louise Anderson and Christin B. Hedgpeth; and her grandchildren, Catherine Ann Anderson and Joseph Claude Anderson.
