She is survived by: her mother Paulette Bumgarner Lingerfelt of Hickory, NC; her husband John William Lewallen; her son Hunter Lee Adkins; her grandchildren, Paisley Adkins of Hickory, NC and Winten Adkins of Lincolnton, NC; her brothers, Rob Lingerfelt (Kristy) of Winston-Salem, NC and Harv Lingerfelt of Morganton, NC; and her mother-in-law Debra Lewallen of Kernersville, NC.
