He was predeceased by : his parents, Gideon Bowman and Ollie Peace Bowman; and his brothers, Aubrey Bowman, Gideon Bowman, Jr. and Weldon "Pete" Bowman.
He is survived by : his wife Brenda Leonard Bowman; his sons, Jeffrey Bowman (Tara) and Dwayne Bowman (Andrea); his brother Dene Bowman (Irene); and his granddaughter Katelyn Bowman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
