With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Wilborne Sr. of Thomasville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2026 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Davis Wilborne, Sr. and Nora Scott Wilborne; his wives, Martha Maxine Millen Wilborne and Edna Earle Robertson Wilborne; and his siblings, Elsie Snead, Sylvia Thomas, Marvin Wilborne, Henry Wilborne of Jefferson Davis, Ruby Ford, Harvey Wilborne, Raleigh Wilborne, Franklin Wilborne and James "Bobby" Wilborne.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Wilborne, Jr. (Robin) of Rogers and Terry Lee Wilborne (Vivian) of Thomasville; his stepchildren, Rocky Everhart (Vickie), Randy Everhart (Dana) and Starr Waynick (Charlie); his sisters, Mary Rowe and Jackie Cuneo; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Scott Moody (Stephen), Jessica Leigh Wilborne, Jennifer Gray Scott (Addison) and Donald Bradford Wilborne, III (Jozi); and his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Sofsian (Scott), Allison Willis (Dave), Kelsey Jacobson (Matt) and Sydney Rumley. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Colonial Baptist Church 6792 Welborn Rd, Trinity, NC 27370.
