It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Parker Brooks (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Doris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ella Elizabeth Parker McCorkle; and her son-in-law Kenneth Wayne Gallimore. She is survived by: her children, Diane Black Gallimore of Thomasville, Kenneth Black (Denise) of Welcome and Randy Black of Thomasville; and her grandchildren, Angie Gallimore Bateman (Dwayne) and Joey Black (Nicki).
