As we bid Dorothy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dorothy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Lee Fouts and Martha Ella Lambeth Fouts; her husband Charles Allen Finney; and her siblings, Mary Alice Hughes, Pauline Shore and Richard Fouts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Payne and Shirley Lang (Joe); and her sister Nancy Carter. She is also survived by three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
