He is survived by: his children, Robert Stanley, Gary Hughes and Renee "Sissy" Stanley; his grandchildren, Brian Stanley, Arron Williams, Brooklyn Williams, Noah Stanley, Angel Ellis, Garrett Hughes and Benjamin Hughes; his great grandchildren, Michael, Jaxler, Kingzlee, Verity and Skylynn; his siblings, Jimmy Spivey, Wade Stanley and Susie Rich (Lewis); and his pet Sox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations (18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
