He was predeceased by: his father Willard Theodore "W. T."; and his sister Linda T. Thornburg. He is survived by: his children, Monica Thompson Jollie of Thomasville and Stan Thompson of Thomasville; his siblings, Willard Thompson (Lorene), Jane Dockery (David), Wanda Leonard and Roger Thompson; his grandchildren, Preston Everhart (Michelle), Carson Everhart Dorsheimer (Tom), Keaton Everhart (Cailin) and Maison Jollie; and his great grandchildren, Preslie and Charlie.
