She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Dempsy Childs and Frankie Maude Grisby Childs; her husband Edward Nelson Farmer; her son Eric Nelson Farmer; and her sister Brenda Walden.
She is survived by: her daughter Anita Farmer White (Aaron); her siblings, Gail Sosa and Greg Childs; her grandchildren, Rachel White (Austyn Barton) and Noah White (McKinley Altice); and her nieces and nephews, Brandy Walden, Fonda Gonzales-Perez, Greg Greer, Ashley Martin and Keora Childs.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Colonial Baptist Church (6792 Welborn Rd, Trinity, NC 27370). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Baptist Church.
