She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Travis Passmore, Sr. and Mamie Louise Conley Scott; her son Eric Wayne Hockett; her grandson Hunter Wayne Hockett; and her siblings, James A. Passmore, A. Moses Passmore, Clint H. Passmore, Larry Passmore, Carl Passmore, Phillip Travis Passmore, Jr., Janie Wilson, Louise Cowart, Mary Passmore and Dolly Jarrett.

She is survived by: her siblings, Lacy Cowart of Thomasville, Nellie Cowart (Earl) of Franklin, NC and Lex Passmore of Trinity; her grandson Luke Wayne Hockett; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Brenner Children's Hospital, 1 Medical Center Blvd. Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
