He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Dougherty Foley; his siblings, Laura Foley Farlow (Fred) of Lexington, Patsy Foley of Trinity, Shelby Foley of Lexington, Lynn Foley Tate of Sophia, Tammy Morgan of Hickory, Martha Foley Siler (Drew) of Thomasville, Stephanie Foley McNair (Steve) of Dallas, NC, Wayne Foley (Tammie) of Trinity, Fred Ashley (Carolyn) of Asheboro and Mark Parnell (Sonya) of Thomasville; his brother-in-law John "Bubba" Dougherty; and his stepmother Carol Hunt Foley of Thomasville.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Firelight Baptist Church (805 Greystone Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203).
