It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Ray Rogers of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Oliver Rogers and Lula Violet Ammoes Rogers; and his son Ricky Rogers. He is survived by: his son Ronnie Rogers; his siblings, Jimmy Rogers of South Carolina, Ann Williams of South Carolina, Patricia Ann Elliott of South Carolina, Susan Laroe of Norfolk, Virginia and Mary Frances "Dee" Barfield of South Carolina; and his former wife Betty Chavis of Thomasville.
