He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Robertson Gallimore; his grandson Alex Gallimore; and his siblings, Aster Gallimore, Rex Gallimore, Oleen Pierce, James Gallimore, Boyd Gallimore and Hosea Gallimore.
He is survived by: his sons, Glenn Gallimore of Thomasville, Thomas Gallimore (Cindy) of Thomasville and Todd Gallimore (Darla) of Lexington; his stepchildren, Tammy Kennedy, Tim Kennedy (Jessica), Tracy Krohn and Kyle Surratt (Mindy); his grandchildren, Madison Gallimore, Mackenzie Gallimore, Derrick Gallimore (Elizabeth), Sean Gallimore, Zachery Gallimore (Hannah), Morgan Justice (Spencer), Katie Lovell (Levi), Matthew Kennedy, Hayden Krohn, Myleigh Surratt and Kylyn Surratt; and his great grandchildren, Blakely Gallimore, Navy Gallimore, Laylynn Justice and Jackson Justice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
