She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Grafton Payne and Jesse Leigh Myers Payne; her husband James Lewin Crotts; her siblings, Faye Beck and Purnell Payne; and her son-in-law Gerald Wayne Embler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Embler of Lexington and Angela Brown (Brien) of Thomasville; her sister Sue Coble of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Gary Embler (Hannah) of Lexington, Greg Embler of Lexington and Thomas Brown of Thomasville; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Brown, Juliette Brown, Braden Embler, Darren Embler and Haley Embler.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
