He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Clyde Hodges and Ellie Roberts Hodges; his son Jeffrey Lee Hodges; and his sister Patsy Doughtery. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Whitener of Thomasville; and his siblings, Mitchell Hodges (Vickie) of Thomasville, Sue Waterhouse of Thomasville and Connie McCoy (Wayne) of Thomasville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomasville Fire Department or the Humane Society.
